We are now looking for an experienced IT System Owner for a role involving business-critical applications for the electricity market and power systems. This role is suitable for you if you have extensive experience in application management, vendor management, and working with systems that have high demands on security, availability, and stability.
About the Assignment
You will work in a unit responsible for the management, development, and operation of business-critical applications related to electricity trading, settlement, capacity forecasting, outage management, and control of the electricity power system. The role involves supporting the takeover of applications from vendors and relieving other system owners during periods of high workload.
You will work closely with the business operations and become a key part of ensuring that the systems support both operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Handle incidents, problems, and troubleshooting in 2nd line support
- Plan, lead, and follow up on changes
- Automate processes and contribute to improved working methods and routines
- Provide support and assistance to internal and external parties
- Assist in technical requirement specification and development of new solutions and integrations
- Collaborate with the business, other system owners, as well as external organizations in the Nordic countries and Europe
- Manage system vendors and contracts
- Ensure annual cycle activities such as risk analyses, recovery plans, and operational and security clearances
- Create and maintain test and development environments and work with controlled deployment in own data centers
- Coordinate and conduct tests together with the business, security specialists, and test leaders
Requirements for the Assignment
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree in Systems Science or Computer Science of at least 180 ECTS credits, or alternatively at least 5 years of professional experience in IT operations
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the last 10 years in system and application management, including at least 1 year with business-critical and/or security-sensitive systems
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the role of IT System Owner or Application Owner
- At least 2 years of experience working with PM3 and lifecycle management within applications or a corresponding model
- At least 2 years of experience in vendor management and follow-up of international vendors
- Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience working with agile methods and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- At least 2 years of professional experience in IT security
